Thousands of AT&T workers sent letters to Congress demanding an investigation into what happened to the billions of dollars in tax breaks they gave away to AT&T and other corporations that keep cutting jobs.

As we near the end of the year, I want to share with all AT&T West CWA Locals some very important information and dates.

AT&T is prosperous and its leadership is predicting a bright future. In 2017, AT&T had revenues of $160.5 billion and net income of $29.5 billion with capital investment of $22 billion.

CWA's workers and local leaders from AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and others from across the nation joined together.

AT&T members across District 9 held an informational picket action to mark the start of Mobility bargaining in CWA District 3.  

CWA Local 9423 members are recognized for exemplary work!

CWA District 9 filed Executive Level Grievance No. D9-2017-02 for the layoff of Appendix E workers.

A message from Vice President Thomas Runnion regarding the AT&T Tentative Agreement.

CWA and AT&T reached a 2^nd Tentative Agreement on July 14, 2017 with the help of the Federal Mediator.

The Communications Workers of America has reached a tentative agreement with AT&T West with the help of a federal mediator.

With the tentative agreement being rejected by 53% of the membership who voted, CWA and AT&T have agreed to meet with the mediator.

Your Bargaining Team wants to make sure you have the latest information about an important update to the wages you will receive under the tentative agreement if ratified by July 6, 2017.

Ratification ballots will be mailed to members on Monday, June 19, 2017 and will be due in the Post Office box on July 5, 2017 in order to be counted. If you do not receive a ballot contact your Local Union office. This agreement has the support of your elected Core and DIRECTV bargaining teams. After 15 months of bargaining we are pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement for both Pacific/Nevada Bell and DIRECTV members in California and Nevada.  

We made history in District 9, just one week ago. Over 22,000 AT&T workers across California, Nevada and Hawaii went on strike against AT&T West, Mobility and DIRECTV West.  

The Union and the Company have had two formal sessions at the Bargaining table in the last week on May 18th and May 19th, 2017.

Nearly 40,000 AT&T workers from coast to coast walked off the job, prompting store closures in hundreds of cities.

After AT&T refuses to present serious proposals by deadline, three-day strike hits dozens of cities.
