Verizon Supply Chain Services ratified their tenative agreement



  

Verizon Supply Chain Services overwhelmingly ratified their tentative agreement.  During these challenging times, the Verizon Supply unit members stayed united.  A congratulation goes out to out bargaining chair, Judy RaPue and committee member Kathy Kloman.

Judy Rapue, in announcing the ratification, also thanked the Locals for their continued support during this bargaining cycle.

Here are some of the highlights of the agreement:

  • 3 year agreement
  • General wage increase
    • 2%- Effective June 15, 2014
    • 2%- Effective June 14, 2015
    • 2.5%- Effective June 12, 2016
  • Ratification bonus- $1,100.00, payable within 30 days of ratification
  • Improved language for carry over Vacation Sickness and Accident Benefits- Changes as in the CORE agreement
  • Bereavement- will no longer receive a benefit for Aunts and Uncles
  • HealthCare Changes- Employee contributions will be effective October 1, 2014
  • Health reimbursement account $600.00 full time/ $325.00 part time effective January 1, 2015
  • Pension plan equal with the Verizon CORE agreement.
