Celebration for Cesar Chavez

On behalf of Jason Hall and Local 9423. a big thank you CWA District 9 for sponsoring half of our table today. Members were appreciative to take part in this event honoring a hometown hero and champion in the labor movement, Cesar Chavez, on what would of been his 90th birthday. This is an annual event that the local participates in as it is a fundraiser for scholarship awards. Each table is also encouraged to give a donation at the event. Our table collected a generous additional $296 this morning. CWA was recognized as a contributor.
