Disturbing reports from the Philippines indicate that military police have raided the regional offices of several progressive and union organizations in Bacolod, arresting union organizer Mary-Anne Krueger (known as Anne) as well as an organizer for the BPO Industry Employee Network (BIEN), who was subsequently released.

Hawaiian Airlines Flight Attendants Prepare to Vote on a Possible Strike

More than 2,100 Hawaiian Airlines flight attendants prepare to vote on whether they should authorize a strike. This will be the first strike vote by flight attendants in the company’s 90-year history and it comes after nearly three years of stalled contract negotiations.
