Obama and Clinton agree: Speed Matters: Affordable high speed Internet for America
Speaking to Communications Workers of America members from around the country at the annual CWA Legislative-Political Conference, Senators Clinton and Obama reiterated their commitment to making a national high speed Internet policy a top priority. Watch what they had to say.
 
Panelists agree: it's time for universal high speed Internet
Representatives from The Free Press, Communications Workers of America, the FCC, and both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama's presidential campaigns came together recently to speak out about need for high speed Internet build-out policies. This consensus calling for build-out policies reflects the sentiments of the greater American public, according to a recent poll of registered voters. Washington high speed Internet initiative is approved
Washington Governor Christine Gregoire has signed The High Speed Internet Initiative into law. This legislation calls for a strategic plan and specific proposals to expand high speed Internet statewide to be completed by the Washington Department of Information Services in time for the 2009 legislative session. Read the Whole Story
