Photos: Sacramento CWA Members Fast, Rally For Health Care

Below are photos from The One Night Vigil and Fast For Health Care Reform, which began the evening of October 19th and continued into Tuesday, October 20th.  The event was held in front of the Federal Building in Sacramento,  beginning with a rally and a fast and continuing with a vigil throughout the chilly October night.  After breaking their fast the next morning, participants took part in a phone call push to California Senator Diane Feinstein, asking for her support for a health care reform bill that would include a public option, require every employer to participate, and which would not tax health care benefits.

The event was a joint effort of the Sacramento Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, Health Care for America Now! and Organizing for America, and members from CWA Local 9421 took part and provided these photos.
